Today I actually went to the gym while I had the baby, which I usually don’t do because..it’s hard. Whah. But I sucked it up and took her and pushed her 4 miles around the track. My motivation you ask? Wayyyy too much sushi AND A VENTI WHITE MOCHA.. WORTH IT. It’s called balance thank youuuuu. Hope you lovies had a great Sunday ❤
Like, you love to run miles on end? Frickin’ rad! You hate cardio and only lift? Badass! You do yoga? Cool! You only do calisthenics?! Awesome! You only walk laps around Target to get your steps in? GO YOU! You’re being active the way that you can, or makes you happy. And if you’re doing something you hate, you probably won’t do it long enough to get the results you want. So just enjoy falling in love with being active and don’t worry about what will burn the most calories or what people are telling you you SHOULD be doing.

So I’ve noticed there are tons of fitblrs that are either bots or just selling things or just not personal blogs. So I’m looking for REAL PEOPLE running fitness blogs so if you could pleaseee reblog this and add a short message so I KNOW YOU’RE A REAL PERSON, I would like to follow you 💜💜💜
So I’m starting a new meal plan this week. And I know I have a huge problem with being consistent with my goals. I think my issue stems with not being able to see immediate progress. And at the beginning staying motivated and feeling like you’re getting anywhere can seem etherial. I also know I’m a huge nerd.
I saw this one ted talks a while ago, and the speaker was talking about why video games (particularly WOW) are so addicting. And her hypothesis was the idea of immediate feedback; you get immediate rewards for completing an objective. So I’m working this idea into my own life.
So my solution? I’m creating a sort of RPG style reward system/game for myself. Inspired by Pokemon, DND, and Avatar, I’m making a year long plan to master my body, and mind. I won’t bother going into the details, as I’m just now really figuring out the logistics. But if anyone is interested in the idea, DM me and I’ll be happy to share my thoughts.
Wish me luck! 💕🌸
